古今美术馆位于汕头市长平路阳光海岸1区11幢3楼304，地理位置优越，原国家文物管理局局长孙轶青为本馆题写馆名。多次开展学术交流，举办展览，日渐成为文件交流的重要窗口。办过民间收藏展、钱币展、陈永锵书画展、欧广勇书法展、杨明义山水画展等；2003年兴办潮汕春联选展览并结集成册，吴南生先生亲笔为书题名。
本馆配套装裱工作室、书籍装潢艺术设计室，收藏历代古今字画，古瓷器等。为藏家提供学术研讨、作品展示及走向市场开辟交流的空间，同时与海内外艺术经常机构合作，架起收藏交流的桥梁。

ANCIENT AND NOODEN PICTURE GALLERY 

The Ancient and Modern Art Gallery is located on 1 Division 11 3 F 304, Sunshine Coast, Chang Ping Road,ShanTou City,the former director general of National Cultural Relic Administration Bureau inscribed the name of the gallery.Enjoying superior geographic position,the gallery is convenient for parking and hassuccesfully held the folk collection exhibition,the currency exbibition,ChenYongqiang's painting and calligraphy exhibition,Ou Guangyong's calligraphy exhibition,Yang Ming xi's landscape painting exhibition,etc.Last year Chaoshan spring festival scrolls collection was held here and the exbibis were collected into a volume,for which Mr.Wu Nansheng inscribed the title personally.The exhibition hall is equipped with a mounting studio and an artistic design-room for uphoister of books.For this gallery has carried out academic intercourse and held exhibitions for many times,it has gradually become an important window for cultural intercourse.With the ancient and modern paintings and calligraphies, and ancient porcelains ,the gallery provides an intercourse space for the collectors to hold the seminar,show their artworks, and enter into the market.Menwhile it cooperates with the oversea and domestic artistic managing organizations and sets up a bridge for the intercourse of collection.
